Three people, two cameras, one wedding

The owner shot the ceremony, the second shooter had the bridal prep and the dance floor, and the editor wasn't there at all. Someone has to import, someone has to edit, and someone wants the last word. Here's who does what.

Four roles

Workspace roles in the CullTone beta, 18 Oct 2026
RoleCan doUses a seat
OwnerEverything, plus billing, members, and deleting archived projects for goodYes
EditorCull, edit, retouch, build client galleries, connect a Mac, invite people up to editorYes
ReviewerChange Keep, Review and Archive, undo decisions, pass or flag photos in the Review stepYes
ClientLook at projects without changing anything; gallery guests need no account at allNo, free

The reviewer is the role most studios have never had in a tool. An owner who wants the final say but has no time to edit can swipe through the Review pile and the edits waiting in the Review step on a phone, on the train, between shoots. A reviewer can't touch the edit, so the look stays in the editor's hands.

Seats and storage

Plans in US dollars per month, from the live price list

Free trial $0 1 2 GB
Solo $9 1 25 GB
Pro $19 2 100 GB
Team $49 5 500 GB

An extra seat is $5 a month on any plan. A pending invite holds a seat until someone accepts or you revoke it. Invites are links that last 7 days and work once; CullTone doesn't send email yet, so paste the link wherever your team already talks.

Both cards, one timeline

Both cards go into the same project. The cull grid sorts by shot time across both cameras, or by camera, or by who added the photos, and bursts are grouped on the merged timeline. If the second camera's clock ran four minutes fast, its frames of the entrance land four minutes late, in the middle of the speeches, until you fix it: the project keeps a clock offset per camera model. Our guide to syncing camera clocks shows how to measure one, and the catch with two identical bodies.

The Mac that has to stay awake

Full-resolution renders and gallery exports happen on the Mac that imported the cards. If that's the owner's MacBook, asleep in a camera bag, the editor's changes wait and the app says so. A reviewer on a phone can keep going.

Some studios will find that annoying. If your team works from three cities with no shared machine, CullTone fits you less well today. More on who works where is on the team workspaces page.

The trial is one seat for 30 days. Run a wedding you've already delivered through it yourself first; extra seats come with the larger plans once billing opens.
