Two shooters, one wedding, vows in the right order

Your card and your second shooter's card go into the same wedding. The cull grid shows who shot each frame, lines up the two camera clocks, and lets your editor and your reviewer work on the same project from different desks.

The couple opening a gallery link needs no account at all. The client role is for someone you want inside the workspace, such as a planner, without paying for a seat.

Seats on each plan

Seats included per plan; prices in US dollars per month
PlanSeatsPrice
Free trial 1 $0
Solo 1 $9
Pro 2 $19
Team 5 $49
Studio 10 $89

An extra seat is $5 a month. A pending invite holds a seat until it's accepted or revoked, and the app won't let an invite or role change go over. Billing isn't live yet, so every workspace runs on the trial for now. Details on the pricing page.

We charge per seat, not per photo.

That suits a studio of five shooting 3,000 frames a wedding. It's a worse deal for a solo photographer who hires a different freelance editor every month, because each of them needs a seat while they work.

Bringing people in

An owner or editor creates an invite with a role and gets a link. Editors can't invite anyone above their own role. The link works once and lasts seven days, and if you put an email address on it, only that address can accept it. You send the link yourself; CullTone doesn't email invites yet.

For one wedding only, invite someone to that project instead, as an editor or a reviewer. They see that project and nothing else in the workspace, they take no seat, and a project can have up to 10 of them.

A second shooter whose clock ran fast

Each card import records who added it and from which computer, and the cull grid has an "Added by" picker and a Camera picker. Photos sort by corrected shot time, so a second camera running four minutes fast doesn't scramble the vows. Bursts and scenes group across cameras. Two identical bodies, say two Sony A7 IIIs, can't be told apart yet, and there's no way to set an offset by hand.

Owners and editors see every connected computer under Settings, Computers, and can disconnect any of them. Each project has one main computer that holds its originals and runs its culls and renders; if it is switched off, they wait until it is back. To move a project to another Mac, choose Make this the main computer there and locate or import its photos. Changes to decisions, People and members go into an audit log the owner can read.

Set up the studio workspace

The trial has one seat, enough to run a wedding with both shooters' cards on your own login. Inviting teammates needs a plan with more seats once billing opens.
