FilterPixel vs CullTone: a cull with no shoot count

Count your shoots, then count again
FilterPixel's pricing page includes unlimited basic culling on every plan, and its DeepCull mode by the shoot: 20 a year on Standard, 70 on Pro and 140 on Studio, with each extra shoot at $7.99. A photographer on Standard with 30 shoots in a season would pay $180 plus ten extra shoots, $259.90 for the year.
CullTone has no meter. You pay for seats and storage, every shoot gets the same cull, and the busy months cost the same as the quiet ones.
Why did it set that one aside?
CullTone tells you. The first decisions appear within seconds of the card going in, and each photo carries a sentence such as "eyes closed on the groom; a sharper frame two shots later". Bursts and near-duplicates are grouped across every camera, with the camera clocks lined up, so the second shooter's frames sit next to yours.
Disagree with a call? Move the photo. Nothing is deleted.
From keepers to client link
The edit starts from your camera's own colour, then one of 54 looks or your learned style goes on top. A quality check flags skin colour shifts and clipped highlights before your client sees anything, and the gallery lets them heart favourites, approve, ask for a redo and download. If you finish in Lightroom, every photo has an XMP sidecar with its rating, label, reason and develop settings.
